The Book Nook Inn*

My Air Bed and Breakfast Adventure

Some of you who follow me on Facebook may have seen pictures and commentary of my ongoing house updating projects, including the makeover of my stairs. It started out because there was a stain on the carpet at the top of the stairs, and I was just done with looking at it, and in a fit if pique, I ripped the carpet out then and there.  Then I started looking for a way to do my stairs that didn’t involve carpet, and saw the book title stairs idea, and knew that was the answer.  Which, strange as it may seem, is what has led me to re-purposing my basement into an Air Bed and Breakfast (Airbnb) lodging space.

In a nutshell, it has been a long, winding, challenging road for me to be in my house, by myself, holding down a full-time job and trying to make ends meet. So I have been trying to find a way that I can use the assets I do have to support myself completely, and I think I finally have, and this part of KyneWynn’s Chronicles is devoted to explaining what I’m going to do.  Please feel free to follow along as The Book Nook Inn unfolds. From Karena: KyneWynn is a friend of mine, plus I would really like this Inn to exist so I can stay there sometime when I visit in Utah!

From my brother, Tom: Susan I’m so proud of you for trying to do this .I know it’s not easy for you in your current place but I promise you if you keep working at it you will win! May god bless you and your family. Love Tom

From Stefanie: You know where you are, where you want to be, and how you’re going to get there….. Go for it! God Bless!

  2. More Facebook Comments:

From Chalyse: I send my best wishes to our dear friend, If I can help in anyway I’ll be sure to let her know, but in the mean time I CAN spread the word for her about this awesome project she’s working toward. heart emoticon You Kynewynn!

From Tabitha: My friend is making part of her house a bed and breakfast with a book theme smile emoticon I think it’s so awesome she’s doing that! Please share to help spread the word and help her out

From Angela: Many of my friends already know KyneWynn, but for those who don’t, I personally vouch for her. She’s an amazing person and a great friend. I can’t wait to see her Inn (and possibly attend a future writing retreat! )

From Kerry: This is a friend of mine. As she notes in the Go Fund Me description, she was widowed 11 years ago. I’ve watched her struggle, and knowing what that physical drain of multiple jobs does, I think the Air BNB is a great fit for her. (Knowing her there would possibly be amazing baked goodies for her guests). Give if you can.
